The following checklists outline the key responsibilities and tasks for both Accelerator Experts and Accelerator Chairs within the Accelerator program. These roles are crucial in ensuring the effective implementation and success of the program, providing structured guidance, setting clear targets and maintaining accountability. Additionally, the document includes KPIs for emerging and thriving chapters, serving as guidelines to ensure global consistency. By adhering to these guidelines, both Accelerator Experts and Accelerator Chairs can work together seamlessly to achieve the program's objectives and drive impactful outcomes.

BEST PRACTISE, ENSURING GLOBAL CONSISTENCY
ACCELERATOR EXPERTS
STRATEGIC PLANNING AND CONSULTATION
Strategic Annual Call:
- Schedule a call before the upcoming fiscal year with Accelerator Chairs, their Chapter
Managers and Staff Member. - Discuss the upcoming year, set targets and review the tracker.
PARTICIPANT TARGETS
Quarterly Participant Targets:
- Assist in setting and agreeing on participant targets for each quarter in consultation with the Accelerator Chair.
COMMUNICATION AND GUIDANCE
Communication:
- Invite all Accelerator Chairs to the call with prior guidance on their role.
Guidance Document: - Develop a document outlining the role of experts, facilitating strategy calls and providing clear guidelines to Accelerator Chairs on target development.
MONITORING AND FEEDBACK
Regular Review:
- Conduct monthly reviews of the plan’s execution and gather feedback from all parties
involved. - Adjust the plan as necessary based on feedback and changing conditions.
MANDATORY MEETINGS AND ATTENDANCE
- Attend monthly calls hosted by Global EOA Staff
ACCELERATOR CHAIRS
STRATEGIC PLANNING AND CONSULTATION
Strategic Annual Call:
- Participate in the annual strategic call with your Accelerator Expert and Chapter
Manager - Discuss the upcoming year, set targets and review the tracker.
PARTICIPANT TARGETS
Quarterly Participant Targets:
- Set and agree on participant targets for each quarter in consultation with the EOA
Expert.
MANDATORY MEETINGS AND ATTENDANCE
Regional Chair Calls:
- Ensure participation in all Regional Chair calls. In your absence, delegate attendance to your Co-Chair or Chapter Staff.
LEARNING DAY SCHEDULING
Learning Day Dates:
- Schedule all learning day dates before September 1 of the new fiscal year.
- Confirm with the trainer and post on EO Hub.
TRACKING AND REPORTING
Program Tracker:
- Conduct a monthly review of the program tracker and refine the plan in alignment with
Expert feedback and emerging needs.
COMMUNICATION AND GUIDANCE
Communication:
- Participate in scheduled strategic calls with your Accelerator Expert to ensure alignment and clarity on program implementation
KPIs
FOR EMERGING PROGRAMS

Select/Elect Accelerator Co-Chair (recommended timeline: Feb)
- Establish EOA board (recommended timeline: March to May)
- Accelerator Co-Chair attend all meetings related to Accelerator program (including
meeting with Accelerator Expert) - One EOA board meeting per month
- Trainer identified and assigned to the program
- Four learning days scheduled and published on EO hub for the fiscal year
- Learning days scheduled and published on EO hub for the next 3 years (finalize on the
month of the quarter, day, and time) - Coaches identified and trained (in person, online, and LMS learning platforms available)
- All EOA participants assigned to trained coaches
- Chapter staff recruited to implement and support EOA program
- Chapter staff trained on role and responsibility
- Chair attends GLC and is aware of his/her role and responsibilities

- Program budget plan for program events, retreats, etc.
