EOA Application & Payment Process

Amounts:
     • Global Fee: US$1,750 USD
     • Local Fee: __________ (TBD by chapter)
     • Final payment is prorated from Join Date to 30 June (same as EO)
                  o     Similar to EO’s renewal schedule, please note that we will charge new
                         participants joining in Q4 their prorated fees for the current FY, plus the  
                         total local/global fee for the next FY.
                  o     EOA does not have installment option for new applications

Who to approve
     • Approve any applicant who is ready to move forward with payment
     • Reject any applicant with whom the chapter will not proceed
       When to approve
     • Approve applications when the chapter is ready to add the applicant to the
        roster (and have the applicant pay)

Approval steps on www.EOnetwork.org: (Access is limited to member leaders listed on
Chapter profile and Chapter Administrator)

     • Choose “Member Leaders” > “Chapter Site Administration”
     • Choose “Accelerator Applications & Prospects” under the Accelerator
       Administration header from the left menu
     • Find the person to be approved/denied
     • Click “Waiting for Approval by Accelerator Leadership” under “Action Required”
        column
     • Approve or reject:
             o Select “Application Approved by Accelerator Leadership” or “Application
                Rejected by Accelerator Leadership”
     • Click “Submit”

What happens next?
     • As soon as you approve an applicant in the EO Hub, EOA Global will receive an
       email notification of the approval
     • That same day, EO Global staff will send a payment link which is valid for five
       days to the applicant which will trigger a notification email to the local
       programme. The fees will be based on first learning day or official start date
       through 30 June.

     • Applicants from Wire programmes will not be processed until EO finance
        confirms receipt of payment. Once received, EOA Global staff will process the
        payment within 24 hours.
     • If the payment clears, the applicant is now an Accelerator participant.
              o The EOA Chair and Chapter manager will receive an email notification
                 confirming that the payment has successfully gone through
              o 5 minutes after the application is processed, the new participant will
                 receive an automated welcome letter with details about how to log in,
                 reasons to use EOnetwork.org, and more
     • If the payment is not received within 60 days from the date of local approval,
     the application will be automatically switched to Ex-Applicant. The application
     can be reinstated per request.

Things to know
     • All fees are pro-rated by month through 30 June
             o The pro-rated fees listed on the application form will automatically adjust
                each month to display that month’s pro-rated fees.
     • Applications approved within Q4 (April to June) are processed with the prorated
       fee for the current FY plus the full renewal payment for the next FY
    • This process is manual. Applicants will not automatically be charged when they
       submit payment details
    • If you don’t see an applicant listed in your application pool, check the prospect
      and EO applications!

Accelerator status on EOnetwork.org
    • Waiting for Approval by Accelerator Leadership: Formal application submitted;
       needs review or approval by local program
    • Application Approved by Accelerator Leadership: Approved locally; waiting for
      approval by Global staff
    • Application Rejected by Accelerator Leadership: Application rejected locally;
      no further action will be taken
    • Application Approved by Global: Application approved by Global staff;
       payment is pending
    • Application Rejected by Global: Application rejected by Global staff; no further
      action needed
    • Waiting for Payment: Waiting for payment to clear
    • Payment Received: Payment has cleared; applicant will be added to
       participant list shortly
    • Payment Declined: Payment did not clear; follow-up is needed
    • Member: Approved and paid Accelerator participant
